Each stage is separately scoped. Start with Diagnose or bring suitable existing work. Direct is optional.

02 / The working relationship

Keeps the work focused on your business. Advises and oversees within the agreed scope.

Approves spending, scope, risk and the finished work.

Your delivery owner runs the day-to-day work with your team and suppliers.

Check technical, security, legal and regulated matters. Formal assurance is commissioned separately.

Decisions, changes and boundaries

Agree the question, outputs, roles, access, timing and fee.
For Direct: agree authority, supplier reporting, delivery ownership, review frequency, response times and escalation.

Raise gaps, risks and changed assumptions early. Record decisions, owners and the effect on the plan.
Price extra work first. Another Direct project, daily management, extra material changes or more frequent reviews needs a revised agreement.

No vendor referral commission. Relevant interests are disclosed before a supplier shortlist.
General Advisory excludes routine supplier direction and project oversight. Any advice alongside Direct needs a separate scope; no double billing.
